Take A Drive Thru The Suburbs

Posted in Music on July 14th, 2010 by Bri RobThe 8 different covers for Arcade Fire’s upcoming record “The Suburbs” have surfaced:
Now if only they would include each image as 12 x 12 poster flat to have all the artwork. I don’t see buying 8 different versions of this, especially on vinyl. Still cool to see different vibes on the concept of “The Suburbs”

Thom Yorke / Jonny Greenwood – Glastonbury 2010
Posted in Music on June 27th, 2010 by Bri RobEarly Friday afternoon, Glastonbury organizer Michael Eavis announced that Thom Yorke would be the special guest at this years festival, and would play at the smaller sized Park stage. Word got around the festival rather quickly, and a large crowd showed up to see him play. Greeting the crowd, Thom introduced himself; “Hi my name is Thomas Yorke”. He then went into a couple of songs off his solo record ‘The Eraser’. Jonny Greenwood then joined him on stage for a few Radiohead classics. So far the only video I have seen is a video of “Karma Police” shot from side stage by Vampire Weekend member Rostam Batmanglij.
Setlist:
01 The Eraser
02 Harrowdown Hill
03 Black Swan
04 Cymbal Rush
05 Arpeggi
06 Pyramid Song
07 Idioteque
08 Karma Police
09 Street Spirit
